Josée Dumont, M.A.Sc., RSP2IB, P.Eng., is a professional engineer with 18 years of experience in transportation engineering, specializing in the field of transportation safety.
She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from École Polytechnique, and a Masters of Applied Science in Civil Engineering, Transportation, from the University of Toronto.
She is a registered professional engineer in Ontario and Québec and is fully bilingual.
Josée also holds the Road Safety Professional Level 2 certification, with both infrastructure and behavioural specialties.
Josée has experience completing safety assessments, road safety audits (RSAs), and in-service road safety reviews (ISRSRs) for various types of transportation facilities, including corridors, intersections, active transportation facilities, and residential and commercial accesses in urban, suburban, and rural settings.
Josée has also provided expert forensic opinions for several locations in Ontario, and was recognized as a Transportation Safety Expert by the Ontario Land Tribunal.
Josée is a member of CARSP and ITE, and she is a member of the board of directors for the Transportation Professional Certification Board (TPCB). She has provided transportation safety related training through the Ontario Traffic Council (OTC), ITE Canada, and the Global Road Safety Facility group of the World Bank.
